This week, I improved the thesis summary video based on the feedback and integrated all the content into the thesis process book, striving to improve every detail of the project presentation.

Video Improvement and Feedback Implementation

Last week, the instructor gave specific suggestions for my video dubbing script to help me improve the accuracy of the language. List as below:

• Change "connect deeply" to the more insightful expression "gain more insights into the problem."

• The expression "visual solutions" is not comprehensive enough and should be added with more specific content to cover the poster design.

• Use "excited by the potential of solutions" to express my attitude towards the future development of the project.

• Use "through the efforts of CITYWALK SF" to emphasize my efforts for the problem.

In addition, the instructor also suggested adding a list of project deliverables and the brand logo at the end of the video to enhance the sense of professionalism and summary. These specific suggestions helped me improve the expression quality and structural integrity of the video content.

Organization and presentation of thesis materials

In the discussion with the instructor, I further clarified the use of thesis materials:

Summary video: as a general overview of the project, showing the background, goals, and general direction.

PPT: Present the design process and deliverables in detail. I can start from the perspective of user journey or user task flow, consider the audience as the audience of the project, and introduce the project content more attractively.

This clear division of presentation methods gives me a clearer direction when designing materials.

Content and layout of the thesis process book

I put all the content of the project into the thesis process book. The overall structure and sequence have been completed, but the layout details still need to be further refined. I printed it into 5x5 thumbnails and sample spreads for the instructor to review. This method helps to check and revise from both the overall and detailed levels. Furthermore, the instructor especially emphasized the importance of detailed layout processing, spelling checks, and text proofreading, which made me pay more attention to these basic but critical assignments.
